We
have crews specifically trained to clean furniture. Most
companies send a carpet cleaner to clean your furniture, we
send a crew that cleans furniture all day long, they are
experts in their field.
We offer all methods of cleaning. We can steam clean, dry
foam, hand shampoo, or dry clean furniture. The crew runs a
fabric test, to determine the best method of cleaning for
each particular fabric. Specific fabrics clean up better
with certain methods of cleaning.
We don’t use dual use equipment - most of our
competitors use a carpet cleaning machine to clean your
furniture, our equipment is specifically designed to clean
furniture. Carpet cleaning machines are designed for high
impact and large water flow, when you clean carpet you are
cleaning a depth, when you clean furniture you are cleaning
a surface. The material needs cleaning, not the padding
below.
Then we bring in an air mover, to partially blow dry the
furniture. By blowing the furniture dry we can see what the
furniture will look when it is dry. We can then touch up
any trouble spots on the job. Additionally the furniture is
almost ready for use by the time we leave, that way
shrinkage is eliminated.

Why should I get my furniture cleaned and how often should
I get my furniture cleaned?
There
is no substitute for regular maintenance for extending the
service life of your furniture investment. We sit on
furniture and perspire through our clothing. Perspiration
can deposit salts which can weaken fiber and may cause
thinning or tearing of fabric, cause dyes to fade. If you
wait until the furniture is dirty the chances of success
can be limited. These problems cannot be corrected but
cleaning on a regular basis can prevent them. Remember the
cost of maintenance is small compared to the cost of
replacement. Clean for
appearance and
health.
What is the best method of cleaning?
This
is difficult to answer because the answer depends on the
type of material. All the methods are good but the fabric
test will determine the best method for each particular
fabric. The methods differ in the amount of wetness used,
steam cleaning using the most water - dry cleaning using no
water, with dry foam and hand shampooing in the middle.
Some fabrics are more water sensitive than others, this
will also play a role in determining the method used.
How
long will my furniture take to dry?
We
bring in an air mover to partially blow dry your furniture
while we are cleaning. The furniture is almost dry when we
leave.
Is
Scotchgard Protector recommended?
It
is always a good idea to protect your furniture investment.
Scotchgard is a fiber sealant. When applied it wraps itself
around the fiber and keeps spills on top of the fiber.
Scotchgard does not make a fiber bullet proof, if a
customer gets to a stain promptly you will have a much
better chance of removing your stain.
Will
Scotchgarding effect the drying time?
Scotchgard
dries rapidly, it has no effect on the drying time.
Do
you guarantee removal of spots?
We
guarantee we will do our professional best to remove all
your stains. Our crew is trained in spot and stain removal
methods and carries a spotting kit with the latest
solutions developed for spotting. Some stains can be
permanent, but we promise to do our professional best to
remove your spots and stains.
Are
your solutions safe?
All
our solutions are self neutralizing. This means that they
will evaporate.
What
do you do that your competition doesn’t do?
We
